      OBITUARY
      EMILE A. DUROCHER
      A funeral Mass for Emile Antonio Durocher, 88, Phoenix, Ariz., formerly of Massena, will be said at 10 a.m. today at the Church of the Sacred Heart. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Mr. Durocher died Nov. 21 in Phoenix.
      There will be no calling hours. Local arrangements are with Phillips Memorial Home. Out-of-town arrangements were with Deca Cremation Services, Phoenix.
      Mr. Durocher served in the Army during World War II and was an apprentice carpenter with his uncle Amable Charlebois in Detroit, Mich. He worked as a finish carpenter until his retirement.
      Born Aug. 29, 1917, in Massena, son of Antoine and Marie Rose Eveline Charlebois Durocher, he married Catherine Eileen McGrath in Massena. She died in 1987.
      After the war he moved to Ferndale, Mich., where he and his wife lived from 1947 until 1987. In 2000, he moved to California with his son's family, then moved with them to Arizona.
      Surviving are a son and his wife, Emile Charles and Shirley, Phoenix, Ariz.; a half brother, Roger Lazure, a half sister, Jeanine Montemarano, two stepsisters, Mariza Cartier and Laurencia Ricard, addresses unavailable, a grandson, a granddaughter and a great-grandson.
      His father died Feb. 22, 1920. His mother, his stepfather, Joseph Lazure, two brothers, Eugene and Ernest, a half brother, Charles Lazure, two half sisters, Martha Shaff and Rachel LaBoeuf, and a stepsister, Lauretta Lazure, also died before him.
